Slight delay, but all is well!

We have not been able to get much accomplished today. It is around 5:30 pm and we are in the capital city of this region of Ukraine waiting on some paperwork. Due to a typo in the court decree, we were not able to get his new birth certificiate. The good news is that all of the offices we need to go back to tomorrow will be open (Saturday). We will have to go back to his birth city and back here tomorrow before heading to Kyiv. Hopefully, we will be back in Kyiv by 6:00 PM tomorrow.

More good news. Since the 10 days are up, we are legally the parents of Jordan. We will be able to pick him up tonight when we get back to Nicopol. We should be able to leave here in about one hour. The orphanage has called Andrew and they know we are coming but that it will be later tonight.

No flight plans has been made. Delta office is open tomorrow. If everything goes as planned tomorrow, we will go ahead and book a flight for Tuesday. We already have an appointment with the American Embassy for 10:30 am Monday for his medical exam and visa.

It has been a long day and we are still one hour’s drive from Nicopol. But we are so thankful to God for being at this stage of the adoption process. Jordan will be with us very soon. We give the Good Lord the praise for what had been done. He has made us a family.

Let me the first one to shout for joy. The Lord has been so good. There 6 kids last night at Bible school that were saved, and this good news is just awesome.
Just remember our prayer. Can’t wait to see all of you and hear your story. Jenny, you will have to come talk to us again. You have the gift.

This is wonderful news. Even the set back, because you know everything happens for a reason.. God has allowed this to happen for a reason and we will soon find out.

We had the same sort of thing happen! They put the wrong birth date on Micah’s passport and we had to have it redone before we could leave the country….but God is good and you will get through it…you are an old pro at this now! What’s one more glitch?? :) When my eyes opened this morning I gave thanks to God that Jordan is yours today! HAPPY TIMES!!!! (And Happy Father’s Day Clark!)

hi, just checked in to see what’s happening. for some reason iyhought you would be home today. i have called your house and left messages. oh well, you know me! anyway, i will sure be glad when yal are here ,as will everyone. espiecially yall. but god does things his way. so we just have to wait alittle longer .i had already planned to be at your house sat. i hope yall have a safe flight backand know that we love you all.daddy and susan

It won’t be long now. I see Sidney told you our great news about vacation bible school. We have had a great week, but we are all running on empty now. My entire office is tickled about Jordan now being yours. I have kept them informed with pictures. They send their love. Have a safe trip home. God has certainly been good to everyone!

I am so happy for you all. May the rest of paperwork be quick and without glitches!Do you really need a plane to fly home????Just catch a cloud and float speedily to your anxious family and well wishers who want to see you and Jordan on American soil!!!

WAHOO!!!!! Finally, Jenny, the labor is done. All of this will be just like everyone says – the wait is long and the pain of giving birth is bad, but the joy at having a child is so great that you won’t remember the pain.
Tuesday is so close, yet so far away. It’s our prayer that Jordan is sleeping well right now with HIS PARENTS and that the next few days will go smoothly and will “fly” by.

amen to all the prayers, they are working, i can see them and def. feel them… lord, if yall dont get home soon, and i mean soon, we will have to put sara away…lol…lol… angie and i have decided dad hid her passport so she will not just show up and “tell u how to finish up the paperwork”..lol

Clark, Happy Father’s Day. Johnathan, Stacie and Britney are coming to go to church with me today. What a feeling to have childern in church with you. I’m glad you now will have that experience.
